Written by the author, the columns range from humor to mirth, from sublime to slime, from Confucius to Mao Tse-tung, from beer to infirmity. What Maoism was to Taoism, bowism is to wowism. This son of a pun takes fun beyond all options.
TroutPomeroys can be as divergent as aspirants and refrigerants. For every five funny ones, there might be one good humorous piece. Just when you think the guy is getting too serious, he'll tackle topics like textual criticism and orgasms as organisms. Most of the time, the writer will draw from the public trough. If it's current, it's nutrient as far as ideas go. If there is no comic potential, we invent it. Usually there is. We just find it.
